Greasewood Park

Greasewood Park offers a uniquely Tucson experience. This breathtaking park showcases two distinct life zones: the Palo Verde-Saguaro upland community, with towering saguaros and desert blooms, and the Sonoran Desert Riparian community, a lush oasis of life in the arid landscape. Explore these natural wonders on the nature trail, which winds through both zones, offering an up-close view of Tucson’s diverse desert vegetation and wildlife.

Did you know? Greasewood Park it is the first natural resource park set aside by the City of Tucson. This site was chosen because of its diversity of Sonoran Desert vegetation and animal life.

 

Grant Industrail Center

Grant Road Industrial Center (GRIC) is an association of 25 building owners. Each building is independently managed. This park has a diverse shops from manufacturing, modern machine shops, water lab testing, electrical switchgear production, importing/exporting, office spaces, contractors, and even non-traditional uses like daycare centers and churches. This space has become a west side icon and a model layout for other business parks in Tucson.

Did you know? Was established in 1961 and was Tucson’s first industrial park.

Tucson Botanical Gardens

Tucson Botanical Gardens is a lush, urban oasis located on the historic property in the heart of Tucson. With 20 beautifully curated gardens, the site showcases a stunning variety of plants—from native desert flora to unexpected treasures. Highlights include the

From October through May, the Cox Butterfly & Orchid Pavilion enchants with tropical butterflies from around the world. Tucson Botanical Gardens also features rotating art displays, community classes, and international exhibits. Visitors can enjoy refreshments, breakfast, or lunch under the mesquite trees at Edna’s Eatery.

Tucson Medical Center

Tucson Medical Center (TMC) has over 600 licensed beds and is Tucson’s leading nonprofit regional hospital, offering comprehensive services, including emergency and pediatric care, intensive care for all ages, women’s and maternity services, cardiac care, orthopedics, neuroscience, surgical and vascular care, and hospice. TMC empowers patients through active participation in their care and provides extensive wellness outreach, including programs like TMC for Seniors.

Did you know? TMC admitted its first patient November 9, 1944. That’s 80 years ago!
