Route 50 (Ajo) serves on average 7,767 passengers monthly, providing easy access to Tucson’s beautiful parks and the local Mission Library. Whether enjoying a day outdoors or catching up on reading, Route 50 ensures a reliable and convenient journey to some of the city’s key recreational and community destinations.

Discover Route 50 – your convenient connection to Tucson’s recreational, educational, and community hubs. Starting at the Roy Laos Transit Center, this route offers Park & Ride access for easy travel.

Explore the scenic Santa Cruz River Park and enjoy family-friendly stops at Kennedy Park and the Tucson Rodeo Grounds. Community support is close with stops at DES at El Pueblo Center and El Pueblo Neighborhood Center. For education and resources, Route 50 connects you to the Mission Library, offering a well-rounded link to essential Tucson destinations.

Laos Transit Center

The Laos Transit Center is a bustling hub for Sun Tran riders, providing a convenient spot to connect to multiple routes across Tucson. Located in the city’s south side, it offers a Park & Ride facility, making it easy for commuters to park and hop on the bus.

It serves route(s): 11, 12, 18, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29 and 50. Plus, Sun Shuttle route(s) 421, 430, 440 and 486.

Did you know? This transit center is named after Roy Laos, Sr. who started the Occidental Bus Lines company in 1924 that served the south and west side of Tucson. It was later renamed Old Pueblo Transit.

Mission Manor Park

Mission Manor Park is a vibrant community space offering something for everyone. Enjoy a game on the baseball fields, host a cookout using the grills, or let kids explore the playground. The park also features a versatile multipurpose field and well-maintained tennis courts, making it a perfect spot for outdoor fun and recreation. The park also features a memorial tile dedicated to those who died during the pandemic from 2020-2022.

El Pueblo Neighborhood Center is a vibrant community hub offering something for everyone. It features a senior center and activity center with engaging programs, the beautiful Pueblo Park for outdoor fun, and is conveniently located near the Frank De La Cruz Library for book lovers. Families can access vital services through the Pima County WIC Program and advocate on your bike with Families United Gaining Accessibility (FUGA).
