In a moment of unforeseen challenge, the true spirit of teamwork shined brightly within our team. It is with immense pride that we commend the actions of Sun Tran coach operators Billy, Jorge and Allen, Operations Administrative Assistant Jackie, Operations Coordinator Scott and Administrative Assistant Wilma who collectively demonstrated extraordinary composure and compassion during a medical emergency within the operator’s lodge.

Operator Billy, alongside possibly two other operators, extended assistance to the delivery woman who was putting Ride Guides away and providing a place for her to rest. Meanwhile, Operator Jorge was asking the woman questions, and with his quick thinking identified the possibility of low blood sugar and promptly offered to purchase a soda.

Jackie Morales promptly notified the Scott while also displaying exceptional care and concern for the woman’s wellbeing. As the situation evolved, Scott called paramedics while Allen sat down next to the woman providing comforting reassurance in a moment of distress. Furthermore, Billy took over the 911 call and kept updating the dispatch center of the woman’s condition. In the meantime, Wilma was updating the woman’s employer of the incident and following up on her recovery.

Despite the challenging circumstances, our team’s collective efforts ensured the individual received the necessary medical attention and support. We extend our sincerest gratitude to the members involved for their unwavering professionalism and compassion.
