Holiday Schedules

Plan ahead for the holidays by checking transit schedules. Passengers can find route specific bus information three ways:

  1. Check schedules online: Sun Tran/Sun Express and Sun Shuttle.
  2. Call customer service (520) 792-9222 | TDD: (520) 628-1565
  3. Check schedules posted at transit centers or in the ride guide available on board buses.
Memorial Day
  • Sun Tran: Sunday Schedule
  • Sun Express: No service
  • Sun Link: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Sun Van:Sunday Schedules (5 a.m. – 10 p.m.)
  • Sun on Demand: Sunday Schedule (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
  • Sun Shuttle: No service, only ADA Dial-a-Ride services from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Independence Day
  • Sun Tran: Sunday schedule
  • Sun Express: No service
  • Sun Van: Sunday Schedules (5 a.m. – 10 p.m.)
  • Sun On Demand: Sunday Schedule (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
  • Sun Link: 8 a.m. until 30 minutes following the fireworks show
  • Sun Shuttle: No Service
  • Sun Shuttle ADA Dial-a-Ride: Service from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Labor Day
  • Sun Tran: Sunday schedule
  • Sun Express: No service
  • Sun Van: Sunday Schedules (5 a.m. – 10 p.m.)
  • Sun On Demand: Sunday Schedule (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
  • Sun Link: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Sun Shuttle: No Service, only ADA Dial-a-Ride service from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Veterans Day

All public transportation will be on a regular Monday schedule.

Thanksgiving Day & Friday After Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day 

  • Sun Tran: Sunday schedule
  • Sun Express: No service
  • Sun Van: Sunday Schedules (5 a.m. – 10 p.m.)
  • Sun On Demand: Sunday schedule (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
  • Sun Link: Sunday Schedule (8 a.m. – 8 p.m.)
  • Sun Shuttle: No service, only ADA Dial-a-Ride service from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Friday after Thanksgiving 

  • All transit services, with the exception of Sun Express, will operate on a regular weekday schedule.
  • Sun Express: No service
Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

Christmas Eve

  • All transit services will be on a regular weekday schedule.

 

Christmas Day 

  • Sun Tran: Sunday Schedule
  • Sun Express: No Service
  • Sun Link: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Sun Van: Sunday Schedules (5 a.m. – 10 p.m.)
  • Sun On Demand: Sunday Schedule (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.)

New Years Eve & New Years Day

New Years Eve

  • All transit services, with the exception of Sun Link, will operate on a regular weekday schedule.
  • Sun Link will have extended hours until 2 a.m.
