TUCSON — Share hope and fight hunger with your cans or cash. In an effort to stock up the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, Sun Tran and Purelit Studios are calling all families to help Stuff the Bus! Make a difference this Saturday by giving non-perishable food items or monetary donations at the drive-through, drop-off event.

When: Saturday, March 6, 2021 | 8 a.m. to Noon

Where: Purelit Studios| 7315 N Oracle Rd.

The Community Food Bank serves families across five counties, covering 23,000 square miles. Their frontline volunteers have seen a record-setting increase in local need for food assistance due to the pandemic. Your support will help keep hunger out of our community.

“This has been a challenging year for so many. But I have hope,” said Community Food Bank President and CEO Michael McDonald. “My hope comes from watching our community come together. It comes from seeing the generosity and compassion of our donors and volunteers, the people stepping up to help their neighbors through this.”

In the last 20 years, Sun Tran’s Stuff the Bus events have collected more than 283,000 pounds of food and more than $150,000 in cash donations to feed local families.
