Project Overview

In partnership with TMD, RATP Dev is reviewing the current conditions of the Sun Van service, policies, and procedures to perform a comprehensive performance evaluation. Our goal is to identify potential improvements to create a more accessible and efficient service.

Project goals:
  • Identify opportunities to improve transit access, mobility, and the customer experience.
  • Enhance Sun Van service to better meet the community’s needs.
  • Propose recommendations for future service changes or expansions.

What We’ve Accomplished So Far:

We have conducted a thorough engagement process with the community to gather valuable feedback. Here are the events that have already taken place:

Survey:

The survey has been successfully completed and is being incorporated in the plan going forward.

In-Person Meetings:

These (6) six meetings provided the opportunity for the community to share feedback in person. Here are the details:

Next Steps for the Comprehensive Operational Analysis (COA):

  • Draft Recommendations: The draft recommendations are currently being prepared. They will be reviewed by the Mayor and Council later in the summer of 2025.
  • Community Feedback: We deeply appreciate your participation and feedback, and we’ll continue to incorporate your thoughts in the recommendations.
