Frequent Transit Network

In A Hurry? Sun Tran is pleased to announce the addition of two new routes to the Frequent Transit Network – public transportation routes that offer service every 15 minutes or less from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. Effective March 5, Sun Tran Route 7 (22nd Street) and Route 34 (Craycroft and Ft. Lowell) join the Frequent Transit Network (see map), which now includes 11 routes:

Route 4 – Speedway (to Kolb)
Route 6 – Euclid/N 1st Ave
Route 7 – 22nd Street
Route 8 – Broadway (to Wilmot)
Route 9 – Grant
Route 11 – Alvernon (to Ajo)
Route 12 – 10th and 12th Ave
Route 15 – Campbell
Route 16 –Oracle (to Tohono Transit Center)
Route 18 – S. 6th Ave
Route 34 – Craycroft and Ft. Lowell
Sun Link Streetcar

“Sun Tran is looking forward to providing more routes that provide frequent service to our passengers,” said Kate Riley, Sun Tran’s General Manager. “We appreciate the City of Tucson’s Mayor and Council for helping make the Frequent Transit Network list grow.”

The new additions to the Frequent Transit Network and their improved schedules take effect in the March 5th Sun Tran Ride Guide. The new Sun Tran Ride Guide is available both online at www.suntran.com and at approximately 500 locations, such as public libraries, major malls and pass sales outlets throughout Tucson.
